My new favorite worship song

Godbumps!!! That's what happens when I hear this song. I heard it the first time a few weeks ago at a Women of Faith conference. It brings me right into his presence every time I listen to it. Hope you feel it too!!

The hardest part was waiting for it to set!!

Most days I am not a fan of the rain. Today has been different though. First I didn't have to go out into it. Secondly, today it is reminding me of blessings I have been given.
It makes me think of how I have been washed clean and made new in the eyes of God.Not by any work I have done, but by an unconditional sacrifice that was made for me.
It is a rain that reminds me that God is present in all things. He has put nature here for us to enjoy, not to be bothered by it. Thank you, Lord, for this day you have made. I will rejoice and be glad in it!!!





It doesn't hurt that he puts special people in our lives to share rainy days.

Update

Thanks for your prayers. My brother went home Saturday night and is doing better. Yesterday my stepdad, Richie underwent a 5 bypass surgery. All went well and he is recuperating. Please continue to pray for my family in Florida. God bless you all!!

Prayer request!!!

Please pray for my family in Florida. My stepdad is facing open heart surgery in the next day or two, with a possibility of 6 or more bypasses. My brother is in the hospital with an infection in his body. My poor mother is ragged because they are in 2 different hospitals. Please pray for God's healing, wisdom, strength and stability for them. Thanks guys!! I know our prayers are heard and what an awesome God we serve. He will carry us through!!!

1st day of school

The girls started school today. It is hard to believe my baby is in kindergarten already. It was a good day. She was so ready to start. She enjoyed meeting new friends the most. Emmy started 2nd grade this year. They both have awesome teachers and we are looking forward to what this year will bring.
